Itinerary

On arrival at Yangon International Airport, be welcomed by an English-speaking guide and then transferred to the hotel for check in. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at a hotel.  Start to explore the city tour, first visit Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, it is a huge reclining Buddha 217 feet long and is one of the largest in Myanmar. Enjoy the photo stop at the Karaweik Royal Barge, is a concrete reproduction of a royal barge, sitting at the eastern edge of the lake.  

Next, visit the famous Bogyoke Market (Scott Market), with hundreds of shops for food, clothing, crafts, and precious stones. Head out to the heart of the city center, a mix of pagodas, monuments and colonial buildings walking expeditions through Yangon’s buildings, some of which are on the Yangon City Heritage List. This is the perfect way to learn Yangon’s vibrant street life with lots of street market stalls including snacks, food and fruits. There will be a chance to taste local food along the way.

In the evening, visit the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda. Sheathed in gold, the magnificent monument is believed to be 2,600 years old and it’s one of Yangon’s premier attractions and the pagoda’s spire soars a massive 326 feet into the air. This stunning stupa attracts pilgrims from all over the world. Transfer to the hotel and overnight at the hotel.

In the morning, check out and get driven to Kyaikhtiyo, home to the famous Golden Rock Pagoda. Upon reaching Kim Pun Base Camp, board an open truck for a ride up the mountain. At the summit, visit the sacred Golden Rock, a gravity-defying boulder covered in gold leaf, believed to be balancing on a strand of Buddha’s hair. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views and capture stunning photos of this revered pilgrimage site. Later, check in to your hotel in Kyaikhtiyo for an overnight stay.

Post check-out, get driven to Yangon, with a stop in Bago for a sightseeing tour. Visit various sites such as the Kyaik Pun Pagoda & the Shwethalyaung Buddha, a reclining Buddha dating back to the 10th century. Also, see the Kanbawzathadi Golden Palace, a royal palace of the Mon Kingdom, showcasing Burmese architecture. Later, continue to Yangon & visit the Taukkyan War Cemetery, a memorial honoring Allied soldiers from World War II. Upon arrival in Yangon, check in to your hotel for the night.

Morning breakfast at the hotel.  Free and leisure at the hotel. Transfer you to the Yangon International Airport to check in for your departing flight.

    • Processing Time: e-Visas are typically processed within 3 working days, and visa on arrival processing is usually immediate.

  • Hotel Reservation: Confirmation of accommodation in Myanmar.

Documents Required

  • 2 passport size photograph of each member traveling (name, age∙ & gender written behind the photograph)  
  • Photo Copy of Photo ID proof. Original to be brought∙ with self. 
  • ID Proof: Driving License, Voter Card, Valid Passport  
  • In the case of Child (below 18 Years) or a couple traveling where there is no ID proof of the wife,∙ a written declaration must be given by the parents / husband. (For some specific areas)  
  • We require at least 7 days for processing the documents 

Travel documents

  • include (without limitation) airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other document. (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm a travel and accommodation related arrangement with a service provider. 
  • Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including (without limitation) being non-refundable, non-date-changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees. 
  • All travel documents are non-transferable. 
  • All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder, some carriers will deny carriage if the name varies between the travel documents and the airline tickets and the booking may be cancelled subject to cancellation charges. 
  • Please review your travel documentation carefully and advise us immediately of any errors in the details as set out in the Checklist. Any errors in names on your travel documentation will be your responsibility if not advised at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to collect all travel documents from us prior to travel.

Booking Policy :

  • Details required for confirmation provide the following details along with your booking request:
    • Package Code and Category.
    • All passengers naming list & concern person mobile no.
    • Total No of Person along with adult sharing the rooms and child with/ without bed.
    • Name, age, address, & gender of all guests.  
    • Date of Arrival and Departure.
    • Advance payment of 30% of total package cost when you book the tour in our bank account.
    • Reference No: As soon as we receive a booking request a file no. will be sent to you, please note the same for future correspondence.  
    • Re-Confirmation: All bookings should be reconfirmed with us minimum 15 days prior to the date along with confirmed arrival details, failure on which will be considered as cancellation.

Service Voucher: The client has to carry an “Service Voucher/Booking Receipt/Bill/Ticket” issued by the booking agent/operator and drawn in the name of “The Planning Travels” [email protected]. Please send us the copy of the same at the time of reconfirmation.

Cancellation Policy :

Cancellation has to be sent to us by email.

Booking day to 30 days – communication charges of Rs.2000.00 per person /As per actual.

  • Cancellation Charge 30% of the Package Cost cancelled between 21-30 days before date of check in
  • Cancellation Charge 50% of the Package Cost cancelled between 15-20 days before date of check in.
  • Cancellation Charge 100% of the Package Cost if cancelled between 10-15 days before the date of check in. The above mentioned cancellation policy will not be applicable during Peak season and blackout dates. 
  • The 100% retention charge will be applicable during this period AMENDMENT: Amendment of booked tour will be treated as Cancellation. However, minor amendments can be made.

We have no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard. All bookings are made on Client’s behalf subject to the terms and conditions, including conditions of carriage and limitations of liability imposed by the service providers. If you have any issues or problems while travelling, please contact our operation team. The planning travels will not be held responsible for any costs incurred as a result of decisions made without prior agreement from your agent. The planning travels will not be liable for any delays/deficiencies of any services such as airlines or other transport facilities. 

We always do our best to make sure your holiday arrangements are satisfactory. However, we cannot accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of these service providers, over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of those particular purchased travel arrangements in respect of which claims arise. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control or which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part. Under no circumstances shall the Company be liable to the Client and/or travelers/persons travelling with the Client for any personal injuries, sickness, loss of baggage or denial of visas. In any case, the Company shall not be liable towards any consequential loss, damage or extra costs suffered by the Client for any reasons whatsoever.

The tour guide reserves the right to make changes or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or band, security reasons etc. Kindly inform us if the guests are senior citizens or have health related issues (like arthritis, heart problems etc.) or any such matter which might need special arrangements. Some itineraries will not be suitable for them and we will suggest accordingly.

The security concerns, driver’s working hours etc. will be kept in mind while planning the tour and sightseeing.

We try to ensure that the sightseeing points do not fall on a closing day. In case due to an inevitable situation if the sightseeing falls on a closing day, it will have to be left out. Conducting that particular tour or sightseeing point the next day will be subject to time availability.

Weather in the region is unpredictable. We have kept your sightseeing related with nature flexible. The region’s prime tourist interest is its Nature and eco-friendly atmosphere. The facilities available here cannot be matched with other developed destinations.

Once the package is booked & confirmed no refund will be allowed. There will be no refund of any unutilized service in part or in full whatever may be the reason.
